Brief: Create a visual identity for a new long-form YouTube series celebrating the 20th Anniversary of Pixar’s Cars + 100th Anniversary of Route 66.

I was tasked with leading design and animation for this exciting new project. Collaborating with Illustrator/Designer ‘Craig Mackay’ and Animator ‘Christine Chen’, we developed a rich style for the 4 episode series that felt routed (hee-hee) in Route 66 culture and iconography. Building off of existing consumer product style guides and the Pixar animated “Cars On the Road” show, we executed a brand new look that felt like a perfect blend of “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” and “Cars” imagery.
